Characteristic

When beautiful design and perfect functionality come together, a tool is born that you won’t want to let go of.

The design of the 17‐centimeter tall grinder was created to fit perfectly in your hand and make grinding with it truly enjoyable.

This is also ensured by the combination of two materials. The body of the grinder itself is made of first‐class porcelain, while the grinder head is wooden. Together, they create an aesthetic contrast, which in this case unites the deep red Bordeaux hue with the natural coloring of walnut. It is simply an accessory that will become an ornament in your kitchen and a perfect helper, for instance when grinding dark red Kampot pepper.

Grinding mechanism

At the heart of the grinder is the ceramic crushing mechanism CrushGrind®

This mechanism can grind peppercorns or salt evenly right at 14 levels of coarseness. A warranty applies to the entire patented mechanism 25-year warranty, thanks to which you can be sure that this Grinder thing will last.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind coarseness of pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the pepper’s flavor it will be. Conversely, larger fragments will impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use your bare hands, but pour the loose pellets into the chamber directly from the package, and use a spoon or funnel to help you. Also, do not forget your Grinder to clean it regularly. However, never use water or chemical preparations for that. A cloth, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep your Grinder away from the sink and handle it carefully over steam.

Materials

These Scandinavian mills combine the advantages of a porcelain body with a wooden head.

Porcelain gives the mill durability, stability and it is also very low-maintenance. The matte surface finish guarantees that Grinder will never slip in your hand.

The mill's head, on the contrary, is made of Scandinavian walnutNot only does this combination give the mill a unique Scandinavian design, but it is also practical. Thanks to the lightness of the wood, the operation of the mechanism is easy, quick, and precise.
