Characteristic

When beautiful design and perfect functionality come together, a tool is born that you won’t want to let go of.

The design of the 17‐centimeter tall grinder was created to fit perfectly in your hand and make grinding with it truly enjoyable.

This is also ensured by the combination of two materials. The body of the grinder itself is made of first‐class porcelain, while the grinder head is wooden. Together, they create an aesthetic contrast, which in this case unites the deep red Bordeaux hue with the natural coloring of walnut. It is simply an accessory that will become an ornament in your kitchen and a perfect helper, for instance when grinding dark red Kampot pepper.

Grinding mechanism

The heart of the grinder is the ceramic CrushGrind® grinding mechanism.

This mechanism can grind peppercorns or salt evenly right away in 14 levels of coarseness. The entire patented mechanism is covered by a 25-year warranty, which gives you the assurance that this Grinder will last.

Maintenance

By adjusting the coarseness of the pepper grind, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. Conversely, larger fragments impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the restless peppercorns directly from the packaging into the chamber and assist with a spoon or funnel. At the same time, don't forget to clean your Grinder regularly. However, never use water or chemical agents for this purpose. A cloth, a brush, and a drop of olive oil are sufficient. Always keep the Grinder away from the sink and also be careful when operating it over steam.

Materials

These Scandinavian mills combine the advantages of a porcelain body with a wooden head.

Porcelain provides the mill with durability, stability and is also very low maintenance. The matte surface treatment ensures that Grinder will never slip in your hand.

The mill's head, on the other hand, is made of Scandinavian walnut. Not only does this combination give the mill a unique Nordic design, but it is also practical. Thanks to the lightness of the wood, operating the mechanism is easy, fast, and precise.
