Pepper..caramelade isn't just about a new culinary experience.

It connects the values of the people behind its creation and their respect for the ingredients that form its foundation. Just like .pepper..field supports Cambodian farmers, Wild & Coco is closely connected to Thai families from whom it ethically sources coconuts, aiming to improve their socio-economic situation.

The coconut pulp is revived with carefully selected probiotic strains. The coconuts come from Thai coconut groves where they are grown using entirely eco-friendly practices, similar to the approach taken with Kampot pepper.

Composition

Red Kampot pepper, found in this product, is a specialty of Kampot plantations.


At these plantations, the peppercorns are left to ripen until they reach a deep red color full of fructose. They are then harvested and sun-dried, giving them their characteristic dark reddish hue.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity notes with milder pungency. Initially, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which gradually give way to dried cherries. After two to three minutes, the most characteristic aromas of Kampot pepper begin to emerge, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthy crust of sourdough bread.

Store open in the refrigerator, let it sit at room temperature for a while, and stir before consumption.

The caramelade combines the sweet and spicy taste of young fermented organic coconuts and caramel, to which we have added a hint of red Kampot pepper.

During fermentation, the coconut pulp obtains probiotic components, which have a positive impact on health and the balance of the intestinal microbiome. It helps to regulate hormonal imbalances, reduce fatigue and stress, and assists in treating inflammation. This is a completely vegan product, so individuals with lactose intolerance and all plant-based diet enthusiasts can enjoy probiotics in this form.

Usage

The flavor of caramelade with pepper is so unique that we're not afraid to call it your new umami, which can captivate even those who aren't into overly sweet flavors. Thanks to this, it can be used in a thousand ways. Don't hesitate to marinate tempeh, tofu, or other proteins in it.
