We deliberately chose dark red Kampot pepper for the tropical edition. It ripens the longest under the Cambodian sun, is harvested berry by berry, and is the sweetest of all peppers. It releases an amazing slightly spicy flavor into the .pepper..gin, accompanied by tones of raspberry and red currant. All this is beautifully complemented by fragrant mango, which is inseparably associated with Cambodia.
Our gin a little differently
Ingredients:
• a large shot of .pepper..gin no. 5 (Žufánek × Pepperfield)
• juice of one lime
• pulp of one passion fruit (or a small shot of passion fruit syrup)
• ginger beer (one bottle, for example Fever-Tree)
• a few red Kampot peppercorns and a slice of lime for garnish
Put gin, lime juice, passion fruit, and ice into a shaker. Shake briefly and strain into a glass full of ice. Top up with ginger beer and stir. Add a few red Kampot peppercorns and an ice shard. Garnish with lime.
