Can the Nordic approach to design and the exotic taste of Kampot pepper get along?

We decided to find out and prepared a unique set of wooden grinders equipped with an uncompromising ceramic grinding mechanism.

The 17-centimeter high Grinder was designed to be a decoration for every kitchen, perfectly fits in the hand and grinding with it was a joy. You can combine Grinder with other types of Scandinavian grinders to always have freshly ground each type of Kampot pepper at hand.

White pepper

White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress for the taste buds.

When ground, it releases aromas ofcamphor, sage, and cedarwood, accompanied by a subtle scent of nutmeg blossom, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can sense tones ofnutmeg shell, thyme blossom, and lemon balm underpinned by aromas of cedar and black tea.

White pepper goes well with light meat. It excellently enhances the flavor of seafood, pairs well withrisotto, creamy soups, and its taste is not lost even in combination with a good pasta. The finer you crush Kampot pepper, the more intense the spiciness will be; conversely, larger fragments or whole grains lend the dish more specific pepper tones.

Grinding mechanism

The heart of the grinder is the ceramic CrushGrind® grinding mechanism.

This mechanism can grind peppercorns or salt evenly right away in 14 levels of coarseness. The entire patented mechanism is covered by a 25-year warranty, which gives you the assurance that this Grinder will last.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind coarseness of pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the pepper taste will be. Conversely, larger fragments impart more of the distinctive exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use your bare hands, but pour the restless beads into the chamber straight from the package, and use a spoon or funnel. Also, do not forget your grinder clean regularly. However, never use water or chemical agents for this. A cloth is enough, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Grinder should always be kept away from the sink and handled carefully over steam.

Materials

This Scandinavian grinder is made of light oak wood.

Thanks to this, it is an almost immortal tool with which you will grind until the end of your life. The surface treatment of the material not only accentuates the always absolutely original wood grain, but also guarantees its simple maintenance.
